Bat Warranty & Limitations
Natural Characteristics of Cricket Bats
Cricket bats are made from natural English willow, meaning every bat is unique and may respond differently during use. While we take great care in selecting and preparing our bats, it is important to understand the natural characteristics and limitations of the product.
Statutory Rights
All bats are covered under your statutory rights in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
-
If a bat is found to have a genuine manufacturing fault upon receipt, we will offer a refund, replacement, or alternative solution, discussed with you on a case-by-case basis.
No Additional Warranty
Some UK cricket retailers are able to offer extended warranties or repair services because they own their own manufacturing facilities. As we source our bats directly from leading manufacturers overseas, we are unable to provide repair services or extended warranties.
No warranty is offered beyond your statutory rights at the point of purchase.
What Is Not Covered
The following are not covered under this warranty or any return policy:
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Cracks, edge damage, toe damage, or breakages occurring during play
-
Damage caused by poor preparation or lack of knocking-in
-
Damage caused by moisture, damp conditions, or excessive hardness
-
Misuse, neglect, or deliberate damage
Match & Practice Damage Disclaimer
Cricket bats are exposed to many variables during play, including yorkers, mistimed shots, uneven pitches, and hard or abrasive balls. As we cannot verify the exact cause of damage in such situations, breakages or damage occurring during use cannot be covered under our warranty or return policy.
Bat Care Recommendation
To ensure the best performance and longevity of your bat, we strongly recommend:
-
Proper knocking-in before use
-
Use of protective facing and toe guard
-
Avoiding damp, wet, or excessively hard surfaces
